Bay City favorite, Jay Fox wins the 2008 River Roar in the F2 class driving the Prime Brothers boat!

Shaun Torrente wins the F1 class races at the 2008 Bay City River Roar with a time of 31:49.925 for 50 laps with a top speed of 117.99!

Terry Rinker takes 2nd with a time of 31:48.817 for 50 laps with a top speed of 117.87 and Lynn Simburger takes 3rd with 31:51.712 and a top speed of 117.70

Saturday turned out to be a beautiful day at the 2008 Dow River Roar.  There was a very short period just as the concert was starting that had a little rain.

We are looking forward to another beautiful day on Sunday!

There are plenty of activities for the kids in the Kroger Kidz Zone so bring the entire family to the park.  Remember that admission to the west side of the river is free with a Big Gulp, Slurpee or 7-11 Coffee cup!

And there is the exciting racing - fun for all ages!

The 2008 Dow River Roar started on Friday with a bang!  The weather was great and the racers are ready to go!  Remember that there is free admission to the west side of the river with a 7-11 cup!  Show your cup and save.

The $15 River Roar general admission concert tickets are avilable for one day only!  This saturday, May 17th starting at 10am.  The $15 tickets are available at 4 places only!
